Concordia Falcon's Nest

Concordia University asked EDE’s architectural woodworking team to update their servery and retail space in its student center.  The preexisting architecture required tearing down of non-structural walls to open up the space and make it more inviting. Custom architectural woodworking structures were made of wood laminate, laminate with a metal-like finish and solid surface countertops. Along with installation of foodservice equipment, the team also installed lighting to highlight the products and display units for the retail space. The project resulted in a student-friendly environment that that encourages students to not only eat but also spend leisure time together in the Falcon’s Nest.
